Magripilis for Hellenic Athletic, the same team that Sophia, Mauboy’s younger sister, played for in the Darwin soccer league.
Magripilis moved from Darwin to Sydney in September 2016 and moved in with Mauboy after seven years of long-distance courting. The union took place on July 9, 2022, in Darwin.
Mauboy returns to Darwin to see her family when she is not working. She is a die-hard supporter of the NRL team North Queensland Cowboys.
