Colonel Lambertus Steyn, the fourth witness for the prosecution, presented the intriguing findings of his examination of the cellphone records of every person present on October 26, 2014, at the time of Meyiwa’s passing.
Kelly Khumalo, a singer and the ex-girlfriend of the murdered soccer player, received two calls from Sifisokuhle Nkani Ntuli, one of the five defendants implicated in the case, according to Steyn, who has 41 years of experience in the SAPS Cold Case Unit.
According to the data analysis, both calls were made a few days before Meyiwa was killed.
